I am a mother of twin girls diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. They are my blessings and I am so proud to be their mom. They love music and the outdoors ecspecially the ocean. They love the anticipation of the water running rapidly at their feet. They love chocolate and pizza. In a lot of ways, like a typical child, but in a lot of ways, not. Both girls are non verbal and I long to understand the world they live in. This is what autism looks like.
